In this tournament squad of musicians, this spot came down to Usher & Ne-Yo. Or this post for that matter. Usher won because he sang about waakye. I am lying? Have you seen this meme or clip before? There is a TikTok trend about this too o!

I love American R&B and Usher is one of the all-time best. He even came to Ghana to perform at the Global Citizen Festival. No, I have not met him before. I have not even tried to go to any concert he is performing at. iTunes was good for me, YouTube is the ish. Let's enjoy the music, or the groove, if you wanna move.

You know I love to party right? I have spoken about partying several times through PartyCrewGH. Actually, I think I love to club. I have been in clubs in countless Ghanaian and American towns. This is an anthem for people who like to dance and go crazy in clubs, not just sit there and order bottles they don't have money for and run away. Yes, I went there. And besides, this song is about waakye. Listen.

Usher did this song with another American favorite of mine, Alicia Keys. What a great duet! When I was watching the video for the first time, I thought Alicia and Usher were actually boos. Acting lol. Watch.

Introducing REACH-Ghana on the occasion of World AIDS day

I was notified about the website for REACH-Ghana today and I must say I am impressed with how far this organization has come in the last 4 months following BarCamp Diaspora at JHU-SAIS in Washington, DC. A few young passionate Ghanaians with interest in the health sector came together after a healthcare breakout session during July's BarCamp Diaspora and started investigating how they could contribute to Ghana's health sector. Their enthusiasm has given birth to Representatives for Equal Access to Community Health-care (Ghana). I love the use of the Adinkra symbol in the REACH logo. After my previous experience with Kasahorow, Museke & GhanaThink, I am a big fan of incorporating Ghanaian symbols in every way. REACH's logo uses the Adinkra symbol "Boa Me Na Menboa Wo" (Help me to help you), which represents cooperation, interdependence and community. Today is my birthday. For all of you who've been wishing me Happy Birthday, I will like to say Thank you in these 23+ African languages and in these 16+ non-African languages . I asked my friends for how to say Happy Birthday in African languages. Some exist. Now you can wish birthday celebrants in an African language. With some help from  my African friends , we have a list to work with.
